Harbaugh called the argument after the game "10 on one," with the 10 being Michigan State. He said there was another Michigan player who was "attacked." Michigan has not identified any of its players, but Harbaugh said one player may have a broken nose.

A source close to the team identified the two players to The Detroit News as McBurrows and cornerback Jemon Green, though it was unclear who might have a broken nose.

Manuel addressed the media and said Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren, who was in attendance Saturday night, will also investigate the altercation. The two campus police departments have launched a joint investigation, Michigan State Police Deputy Chief Melissa Overton confirmed to The Detroit News.
